"Guild Members Enjoy Historic Samplers"
Ten members of the Brandywine Chapter of the Embroiderers' Guild of America visited the Chester County Historical Society on September 16th.
They watched a slide show on historical samplers in the Society's collection, after which they viewed many of the same and other samplers, some from the 1700's, some from Westtown School.
The group then went on to see the Society's most recent exhibit of doll houses, an excellent collection of a variety of styles and periods well displayed. Ellen Endslow of Chester County Historical Society was the group's tour guide.
