Fall Quarterly

The Fall Quarterly will be held on Wednesday, October 17, at the Hawkes Center at Winterthur. (Turn right at the pond, sharp left at the stop sign.)

Following the meeting (don't forget your show and tell items!) we will go to the gallery where Linda Eaton will give us a brief overview of the new needlework exhibition:

Embroidery: The Thread of History

October 5, 2018–January 6, 2019
History can be defined as a series of events that are remembered and preserved through time. This exhibition explores the use of embroidery as historical documents that can deepen our understanding of women’s lives. It considers how needlework has been used to remember the past, document the present, and look forward to the future.
